The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter plane used by the RAF during WW2. It is undoubtedly one of the most famous aircraft ever built. Its graceful lines combined with outstanding handling qualities to produce a "dream plane" extremely fast, and in comparison to contemporary types was second to none.

One of the last remaining Spitfires at an airshow in 2005
The Spitfire was produced in greater numbers than any other British war plane and was used by many of Britain's Allies. It has an elliptical wing cross section, which allowed it to fly at higher speeds than the Hurricane and other fighters of the time, which had a more traditional wing shape.

Once you've opened the box, this replica Spitfire will be ready to grace the skies in only a few minutes, everything you need to fly (apart from 8 AA batteries for the transmitter) is included in the package.
This Spitfire is lightweight, extremely tough, and the fuselage has been finished, carefully emulating the details of the original aeroplane. This plane features excellent stability and awesome aerobatic capabilities. An experienced pilot will have it performing inside loops, outside loops, axial rolls, inverted flight, knife edge, stall turns, hammerheads, and even spins are possible!
